Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position for the role of Director - Group Schools at Velammal Educational Trust, located in Chennai. The Director will oversee and manage the operations across all institutions under the Trust. Responsibilities include strategic planning, academic program development, team leadership, performance evaluation, and alignment of standards across schools. The role requires close collaboration with staff, parents, students, and community stakeholders to achieve academic excellence and institutional growth while upholding the vision and mission of VET.

Velammal Group of Schools seeks a seasoned School Director to oversee operations for a large campus handling at least 4,000 students, aligning with the group's network of over 60 institutions and 85,000+ students across Tamil Nadu. This leadership role demands expertise in managing multiple schools, with a minimum of 8 years as Principal and 3 years as Director or Dean.

## Key Responsibilities

- Lead academic excellence, curriculum implementation (CBSE/IGCSE), and student outcomes for 4,000+ students across at least 3 managed schools.

- Oversee administrative operations, including budgeting, staffing, facilities, admissions, and compliance with CBSE regulations.

- Drive strategic planning, staff development, parent engagement, and community partnerships to foster innovation and growth.

## Qualifications and Experience

- Master's degree or equivalent (M.Ed/B.Ed preferred); Postgraduate with teaching credentials as per CBSE norms.
