Position: Director Finance
Location: New Delhi
Reporting To: COO
Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Educational Qualification:
- CA (First Preference) or CFA (All Levels Cleared)

Role Overview:
The Director Finance will be responsible for leading the financial operations and strategy of the organization, including accounting, cash flow, runway management, and board/investor reporting. The role will also oversee audits, tax compliance, budgeting, and ensure adherence to financial governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Manage accounting, cash flow, and runway across all business units.
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, business planning, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare and present investor and board reports with key insights on financial performance and runway health.
- Drive strategic decisions through financial data interpretation and recommendations.
2. Accounting & Compliance
- Lead both US Accounting and India Accounting functions.
- Ensure Transfer Pricing and cross-border compliance standards are met.
- Oversee statutory audits, tax filings, and all regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and legal teams to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Create and manage annual budgets aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor expenses, implement cost-optimization initiatives, and track budget vs. actuals.
- Establish KPIs for financial performance monitoring.
4. Governance & Reporting
- Develop periodic MIS, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Partner with senior leadership to maintain transparency in investor communications.
5. Leadership & People Management
- Build and mentor a capable finance team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and financial discipline.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards
- Strong expertise in Transfer Pricing and Cross-border Financial Operations
- Proven track record in Audit Management, Budgeting, and Financial Forecasting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership mindset and ability to operate in fast-paced environments
