Zycus is looking for a Director – Solution Consulting with deep expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) domain and strong experience across leading procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and GEP. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales, consulting, and value engineering, requiring someone who can connect business problems to product capabilities, drive engaging executive conversations, and position Zycus as a strategic transformation partner.
The ideal candidate is articulate, high-energy, and naturally engaging (chatty with depth), with the ability to influence CXOs and drive large, complex deal cycles
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Solutioning & Value Selling
- Lead end-to-end solution consulting engagements for enterprise deals across Zycus S2P suite.
- Build and deliver compelling, value-driven narratives aligned to customer pain points and business outcomes.
- Define ROI frameworks, value realization models, and transformation roadmaps.
Executive Engagement & Advisory
- Partner with C-level stakeholders to understand procurement challenges and position Zycus as a strategic advisor.
- Conduct executive presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations with strong storytelling.
S2P Domain Expertise (Upstream + Downstream)
- Demonstrate deep expertise across:
- Upstream: Strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management
- Downstream: Procure-to-pay, invoicing, payments, compliance
- Translate domain knowledge into solution design and differentiated positioning.
Competitive Positioning & Deal Strategy
- Position Zycus effectively against SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, highlighting AI-led innovation and product strengths.
- Partner with Sales on deal strategy, qualification, and closure.
GenAI & Innovation in Procurement
- Leverage Generative AI (Merlin AI) and analytics to showcase next-gen procurement transformation use cases.
- Bring innovation-led thinking into customer conversations.
Global Consulting & Transformation Lens
- Provide inputs on global S2P transformation programs, including risks, change management, and adoption strategies.
- Understand multi-region complexities (EMEA, APAC, ANZ) in solutioning.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and scale a team of solution consultants / pre-sales professionals.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success to ensure aligned messaging and execution.
- Act as a thought leader, representing Zycus in key customer and industry forums.
What We're Looking For
- 12–17 years of experience in Solution Consulting / Pre-sales / Procurement Consulting within S2P / P2P domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, or similar.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end S2P processes (upstream & downstream).
- Proven ability to engage CXOs, influence large deals, and drive value-based selling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills – engaging, confident, and able to hold impactful conversations.
- Experience in solution design, RFP/RFI responses, and deal shaping.
- Exposure to global enterprise customers and transformation programs.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring or managing teams.
- Familiarity with Generative AI in procurement is a strong plus.
