Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of Direct tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the organisation's tax position.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national tax regulations in Pune.
  • Provide tax advice to internal stakeholders on transactions and business decisions.
  • Coordinate and manage tax audits and resolve any issues with tax authorities.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in the property and real estate development industry.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and planning.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on tax-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Direct Tax Manager should have:

  • CA with 4-7 years of experience. (Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of Indian direct tax laws, particularly those affecting the property and real estate development industry.
  • Proven expertise in tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
  • Experience in handling tax audits and liaising with tax authorities.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
