Job Description

Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of Direct tax returns.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the organisation's tax position.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national tax regulations in Pune.
Provide tax advice to internal stakeholders on transactions and business decisions.
Coordinate and manage tax audits and resolve any issues with tax authorities.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations in the property and real estate development industry.
Collaborate with external consultants and advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and planning.
Prepare detailed reports for senior management on tax-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Direct Tax Manager should have:

CA with 4-7 years of experience. (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge of Indian direct tax laws, particularly those affecting the property and real estate development industry.
Proven expertise in tax compliance, planning, and reporting.
Experience in handling tax audits and liaising with tax authorities.
Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
