Salary: Starting 1200 USD/month, depending on experience and work (1,00,000 per month INR)
This role is ideal for someone with agency experience who understands pace, prioritization, and the 80/20 rule: getting strong, revenue-driving copy out efficiently without over-polishing what doesn't move the needle.
What You'll Be Doing
- Write high-converting email and SMS campaigns for ecommerce brands
- Come up with clever, creative headlines and hooks that drive opens, clicks, and sales
- Craft engaging subject lines and preview text
- Write persuasive body copy aligned with offers and brand voice
- Study and adapt winning email strategies from top ecommerce brands
- Collaborate with strategists and designers in a fast-paced environment
- Test, analyze, and optimize copy using performance data
- Ship copy efficiently while focusing effort where it matters most
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in direct response copywriting for ecommerce
- Agency background (or similar fast-paced environment)
- Strong experience with email & SMS marketing and retention
- Ability to generate creative headlines without sacrificing clarity or conversion
- Comfortable applying the 80/20 principle to meet deadlines
- Data-driven mindset decisions guided by metrics, not opinions
- AI & Tools
We're fine with the use of AI tools (including ChatGPT) to increase efficiency
- AI should be used as a tool, not a crutch
- You are expected to steer the strategy, voice, and final output
