Key Responsibilities:-
Consultants in this area work across the entire project lifecycle, from strategy articulation to implementation and post-go-live support.
- Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define front office and overall finance transformation strategies and roadmaps for clients, including business case development.
- Process Improvement and Redesign: Analyze current state business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)) and design future-state operating models leveraging digital solutions.
- Technology Implementation: Lead the selection, design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, managing client expectations and ensuring alignment with business objectives at all levels, including the C-suite.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of transformation programs.
- Innovation and Solution Development: Develop use cases and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new and emerging technologies like AI, automation, and blockchain, contributing to thought leadership and internal practice development.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure that new processes and systems adhere to regulatory requirements and internal controls (e.g., SOX compliance).
Key Skills and Qualifications:-
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on implementation experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365), EPM tools (Hyperion, OneStream, Blackline), and proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Functional Finance Knowledge: Deep understanding of core finance functions, operations, and accounting principles.
- Consulting Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills; ability to work creatively in a time-limited environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience: Typically requires 8+ years of relevant experience in finance system transformation or process consulting, with a track record of leading full lifecycle implementations.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; a Master's degree (MBA) or professional qualification (e.g., CA) is often preferred.
