Job Purpose:
This Job role-Digital & AI will lead the end-to-end execution and enterprise-wide scaling of Digital and AI initiatives at Polycab India Limited. Embedded within a large-scale cable and wire manufacturing environment — spanning batch, continuous, and hybrid operations — this leader will translate complex operational challenges into measurable, scalable digital outcomes across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and enterprise functions.
Operating within a strategy defined by senior leadership, this role is fully accountable for delivering high-impact use cases from concept through scaled deployment — ensuring business value realization, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong adoption across plants and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the Digital & AI roadmap with measurable impact on yield, quality, productivity, energy efficiency, and cost.
- Lead delivery of IIoT, AI/ML, Generative AI, advanced analytics, and automation use cases across plants and enterprise platforms.
- Champion digital enablement in cable & wire manufacturing, deploying smart factory solutions, MES, LIMS, Historians, and DCS.
- Govern execution with agile/hybrid models, ensuring risk management, performance monitoring, and model lifecycle control.
- Build innovation pipelines, onboard fit‑for‑purpose platforms, and drive change management for adoption at scale.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Engineering (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in Digital, Analytics, and Technology‑enabled transformation in manufacturing enterprises.
- 5–8 years of leadership experience delivering Digital & AI programs at scale.
- Strong exposure to Industry 4.0/5.0, MES, IIoT, advanced analytics, AI/ML, RPA, and Generative AI.
- Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end digital transformation programs with measurable business outcomes.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher. – Design Thinking practitioner certification. – Agile / Hybrid Project Management — PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
