Job Description

Performance Marketing Manager/Growth Marketer/Paid Acquisition Lead Unattached · Founding team

Pre-launch

Location: Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 58, Gurugram, Haryana 122011. On-site. Compensation: ₹4,80,000 to ₹10,20,000 per annum, plus founding equity. Where you land in that range depends on how you interview and the level we assess you at.

The role

Unattached is a booking platform for editorial fashion. Talent and brands both carry a UA Index earned from completed work. Every brief is scored for fit and published with fee, usage rights and exclusivity upfront.

The product exists. The screens exist. What doesn't exist yet is a single paying user. Your job is to go get them, on both sides of the marketplace, and to work out which channels, which creative and which audiences actually bring in the kind of people we want on the platform rather than the kind who inflate a signup number and never come back.

This is a two-sided acquisition problem, which means it is harder than it looks. A model in Paris and a brand in Copenhagen do not respond to the same ad, the same offer or the same proof. You'll be running what amounts to two growth engines that have to stay in balance, because a platform with talent and no briefs is as dead as one with briefs and no talent.

What you'll own

The channel strategy. Where we spend, where we don't, and why. Meta and Google are the obvious starting points. Whether that's still true in three months is your call to make and your data to make it with.

The budget. All of it. You allocate, you track, you report, and you decide when to kill something that isn't working. Nobody is going to sign off on your daily spend.

The funnel. Landing pages, signup flows, waitlist mechanics, the path from an ad to a completed profile or a posted brief. You'll work with product and design on this, but the conversion number is yours.

The creative brief. You won't shoot the campaign, but you'll decide what it needs to say and to whom, and you'll test it properly rather than declaring a winner after four days and 200 impressions.

The measurement. Attribution, tracking, dashboards, the weekly number that tells everyone whether we're growing or lying to ourselves. Set this up early, because in a pre-launch company nobody else will.

What we're looking for

Two to six years running paid acquisition, agency or in-house. Marketplace, consumer app or subscription experience is a real advantage. Fashion, culture or luxury is a bonus, not a requirement.

Real hands on keyboard depth in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Not a manager of an agency that ran them. You should be able to build a campaign structure from scratch and explain every choice in it.

Fluency in analytics: GA4, Google Sheets to a level that's slightly unreasonable, and enough SQL to answer your own questions without waiting on anyone.

A portfolio with actual numbers. Budget, CPA, ROAS, what worked, what didn't and what you learned from the campaign you got wrong.

Comfort with small numbers. Early on you'll be optimising against a few hundred conversions, not a few hundred thousand, and you need to know the difference between a signal and noise at that scale.

Clear English. You'll write copy, and you'll write the weekly note that tells the founding team the truth about performance.

The honest bit

We're pre-launch. The salary is real and it's paid, but it sits below what an established company would offer at this level, and equity plus early salary increments make up the difference. Your first campaigns will run on a small budget with no historical data and no brand recognition to lean on. Some of them will fail. Weeks will be intense and priorities will shift as we learn what the market wants. If you need a mature account with five years of pixel history and a settled roadmap, this isn't the right stage for you. If building the acquisition engine from zero is the appealing part, it is.

How to apply

In addition to the easy apply option on LinkedIn, feel free to send us the following:

  1. Two or three campaigns you've run, with the numbers. Budget, CPA or CAC, ROAS, and what you'd do differently.
  2. A short note on how you'd spend the first ₹1,00,000 launching an unknown fashion platform, and what you'd expect to learn from it.
  3. One paragraph: tell us about a campaign that didn't work and how long it took you to admit it.

No cover letter. The third answer is the cover letter.
