Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist |Google Ads Specialist to manage end-to-end paid search campaigns primarily for contractor and home services clients. This role requires an equal balance of technical expertise and strong soft skills, including proactive client communication, quick response times, and a solid work ethic.
Schedule: Remote, Full Time | Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST (60 min unpaid break).
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Campaign Management: Build, structure, and manage Google Search Ads campaigns across multiple contractor accounts, ensuring accurate budget pacing and performance optimization.
- Granular Optimization: Perform regular search term audits, manage negative keyword lists, and run systematic ad copy A/B tests to continuously lower CPL and maximize ROI.
- Conversion & Call Tracking: Setup, troubleshoot, and manage call tracking integrations (CallRail, WhatConverts) as primary conversion metrics, ensuring seamless integration with GA4 and Google Local Services Ads (LSAs).
- Strategic Growth & Onboarding: Design and launch new campaign structures for newly onboarded clients while overseeing Google LSAs to drive local lead volume.
- Proactive Client Reporting: Deliver client-ready weekly and monthly reports focused on high-level strategic wins and actionable next steps rather than just raw data dump.
- Communication & Collaboration: Maintain consistent, fast, and clear communication with internal team members and stakeholders. Take direct ownership of assigned tasks and follow instructions through to completion.
Requirements:
- Google Ads Experience: Proven track record managing Google Search Ads and Google Local Services Ads (LSAs), preferably in the service/contractor industry.
- Tracking & Analytics: Hands-on proficiency with call tracking tools (CallRail, WhatConverts) and GA4 integration/event setup.
- Optimization Mastery: Expert knowledge in search term hygiene, negative keyword strategies, bid strategy adjustments, and landing page/ad copy testing.
- High Responsiveness & Work Ethic: Excellent response times on team messaging channels (Slack/Teams) with a strong sense of urgency.
- Proactive Communicator: Does not wait to be asked for updates; flags issues early and suggests solutions proactively.
- Execution & Ownership: High attention to detail, follows direction accurately, and takes pride in full ownership of tasks.
