We are hiring a Sr. Digital Marketing Expert or Digital Marketing Manager responsible for assessing and validating top-tier digital marketing professionals applying for an elite, invite-only professional badge, the highest level of recognition available on a global freelance platform.
This role is critical in maintaining quality, credibility, and excellence across the digital marketing ecosystem. Evaluators are expected to demonstrate deep subject-matter expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to differentiate between good marketers and truly exceptional ones.
Core Responsibility:
Evaluate digital marketing professionals against stringent standards to determine eligibility for the platform's highest professional designation.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Evaluation & Assessment
- Review and evaluate applications from experienced digital marketing professionals
- Assess real-world expertise across multiple digital marketing domains, including:
- SEO (Technical, On-Page, Off-Page, Local, E-commerce)
- Paid Marketing (Search, Social, Display)
- Social Media & Content Marketing
- Email Marketing & Automation
- Analytics, CRO, and Marketing Strategy
- Analyze portfolios, case studies, results, methodologies, and strategic thinking
- Identify red flags, inflated claims, or lack of depth in expertise
Quality & Standards Enforcement
- Apply consistent evaluation frameworks and scoring criteria
- Ensure only top-performing, highly credible professionals qualify
- Maintain high integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality throughout evaluations
- Provide clear, structured feedback and evaluation summaries
Expertise Validation
- Validate claims related to performance metrics, tools, and outcomes
- Evaluate understanding of strategy, execution, scalability, and client impact
- Distinguish between tactical execution and strategic leadership
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with global digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
- Contribute insights to refine evaluation criteria and benchmarks
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve evaluation accuracy and efficiency
Required Expertise & Skills
Digital Marketing Expertise
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing
- Strong command over SEO, Paid Ads, Social Media Marketing, Analytics, and Strategy
- Experience managing or auditing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Proven understanding of performance metrics, attribution, and ROI
Evaluation & Analytical Skills
- Ability to critically evaluate work quality, strategy depth, and execution capability
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- High standards for quality, ethics, and professionalism
Tools & Platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Ads Managers, CRM, and automation tools
- Ability to assess tool usage depthnot just surface-level familiarity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in agency leadership, consulting, or performance audits
- Prior experience in reviewing, mentoring, or hiring senior marketers
- Exposure to international clients and global marketing standards
- Certifications in Google Ads, Analytics, Meta, SEO, or Marketing Strategy (plus)
