Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager with proven experience in promoting large-scale B2B events such as conferences, summits, and exhibitions. The role requires someone who can develop and execute integrated digital strategies to drive delegate registrations, enhance sponsor visibility, and strengthen brand presence across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of digital marketing tools, data analytics, and content strategy tailored to the events industry.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to achieve event attendance, lead generation, and sponsorship visibility goals.
Manage multi-channel campaigns (email, paid media, SEO/SEM, social media, display, retargeting, influencer/partner outreach).
Optimize marketing funnels for delegate acquisition and sponsor engagement.
Content & Communications
Work closely with content and production teams to design messaging tailored for conferences and summits.
Oversee event websites, landing pages, blogs, newsletters, and event apps to ensure brand consistency.
Develop creative campaigns around event themes, speakers, and sponsors.
Data, Analytics & Optimization
Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance against KPIs such as registrations, engagement, and cost-per-lead.
Use CRM and marketing automation platforms to segment audiences and personalise outreach.
Continuously refine campaigns based on data insights and audience behaviour.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Collaborate with sponsors and exhibitors to maximize their digital presence and ROI.
Manage digital collaborations with media partners, associations, and industry influencers.
Ensure digital deliverables align with sponsorship agreements.
Team & Vendor Management
Lead external agencies, freelancers, and digital vendors for creative, media buying, and analytics.
Guide junior marketing staff in campaign execution and reporting.
Requirements
Required Experience
Minimum 5+ years in B2B Digital marketing.
Proven track record of delivering measurable results in lead conversions and target audience visibility.
Experience in managing marketing budgets, media buying, and ROI tracking.
Hands-on expertise with marketing automation, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and campaign management platforms.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of digital channels (SEO, PPC, email, paid social, programmatic).
Excellent copywriting and content positioning skills tailored for B2B audiences.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign data and present actionable insights.
Strong project management and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with content, sales, production, and design teams.
Up-to-date understanding of digital trends in the events and B2B marketing space.
Preferred Background
Prior experience marketing international summits, exhibitions, or large B2B conferences.
Exposure to industries like Technology, BFSI, Manufacturing, or Luxury Lifestyle events.
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) and LinkedIn campaigns for B2B lead generation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms are an advantage.
