Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Digital Marketing Executive (Content & Growth).
The selected candidate will help with:
- content marketing
- blog writing
- tutorial/how-to article creation
- social media content distribution
- YouTube/Reels coordination
- creator and partnership outreach
- email marketing
- campaign support
- growth marketing activities
This role is not limited to just social media posting. We are looking for someone who can contribute to long-term brand growth and audience building for our WordPress plugin ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who can help us expand awareness, build strategic collaborations, distribute content, improve acquisition channels, and contribute to long-term ecosystem growth.
What You'll DoContent Marketing & Distribution
- Write blog posts, tutorials, and how-to articles for our website
- Create educational content around WordPress, Google Sheets automation, and plugin workflows
- Repurpose blogs/tutorials into:
- LinkedIn posts
- Reels/Shorts
- YouTube snippets
- Carousels
- Email content
- Help distribute educational content across multiple platforms
- Coordinate video/content publishing schedules
- Assist in growing our YouTube and social presence
Partnerships & Collaborations
- Reach out to WordPress creators, YouTubers, bloggers, and agencies
- Explore collaboration opportunities with plugin companies and ecosystem partners
- Help grow our affiliate and creator network
- Coordinate webinars, co-marketing opportunities, and partnership campaigns
Growth Marketing
- Assist with Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns
- Help with retargeting campaigns
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Support funnel optimization and conversion tracking
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
- Help create email campaigns and onboarding flows
- Improve user engagement and upgrade journeys
- Assist in newsletter/content planning
Research & Experimentation
- Research competitors and market trends
- Suggest new growth ideas and marketing experiments
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT to improve workflows and productivity
Qualifications Must Have
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to write clear educational/tutorial-style content
- Good understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution
- Understanding of YouTube/Reels/Short-form content
- Basic understanding of paid ads or willingness to learn
- Ability to research and execute independently
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT
- Organized and proactive mindset
Bonus Skills
- WordPress knowledge
- SaaS/product marketing experience
- Affiliate marketing experience
- Video editing skills
- Canva/Figma knowledge
