Role summary
The Digital Marketing Consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising performance-driven campaigns across SEO, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads to drive qualified traffic, leads, and revenue for clients. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on platform expertise, and the ability to translate business goals into measurable marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies focused on SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads based on client goals and target audience.
- Plan, set up, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, etc.) including keyword research, ad copy, bidding, and audience targeting to maximise ROI.
- Create, manage, and optimise Meta campaigns (Facebook and Instagram) for lead generation, traffic, and conversions, including creatives, audiences, and funnels.
- Conduct on-page and off-page SEO activities such as keyword research, site audits, content optimisation, internal linking, and basic technical SEO coordination with developers.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Search Console, and prepare actionable performance reports.
- A/B test creatives, ad copies, landing pages, and audiences to continuously improve CTR, CPC, CPA, and conversion rate.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure landing pages and creatives are aligned to campaign goals and best practices.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients/stakeholders on budget allocation across SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads based on performance data.
- Stay updated with platform policy changes, new features, and digital marketing trends to keep campaigns competitive.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience (e.g., 24 years) in digital marketing with strong hands-on work in SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate) and attribution.
- Proficiency with:
- Google Ads (Search, Display; Performance Max is a plus)
- Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram)
- SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console; plus tools like Ahrefs/SEMrush are a bonus)
- Google Analytics / GA4 and basic tracking/UTM implementation
- Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills for reporting and optimisation.
- Good copywriting skills for ad creatives and basic understanding of landing page best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain performance and strategy clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
