Job Title: Digital Intermediate (DI) Specialist

Job Summary:
Chandigarh University is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Intermediate (DI) Specialist to manage post-production workflows and ensure high-quality visual output for all branding and promotional content. This role will be responsible for enhancing raw footage through advanced color grading, correction, and visual finishing techniques to deliver impactful and consistent brand visuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform color grading and color correction on video content to achieve desired visual tone and consistency.
- Manage end-to-end DI processes, from raw footage to final output delivery.
- Collaborate closely with video editors, cinematographers, and creative teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
- Ensure visual consistency across all branding content including advertisements, digital campaigns, and institutional videos.
- Handle look development and apply cinematic styles aligned with brand guidelines.
- Work with RAW formats, LOG footage, and various codecs for optimal output quality.
- Maintain color pipelines and workflows for efficient production.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or visual inconsistencies during post-production.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Animation, or related field.
- 25 years of experience in Digital Intermediate / Color Grading.
- Proficiency in tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects.
- Strong understanding of color theory, grading techniques, LUTs, and scopes.
- Experience working with high-resolution video formats (4K/6K/RAW).
- Good understanding of post-production workflows and file management.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in education, media, or branding industry.
- Knowledge of motion graphics or VFX workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with camera profiles and lighting setups.
