Digital Engineer

Role: Digital Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers and images in development and production environments

• Support container orchestration activities using Kubernetes and Docker Swarm

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment processes

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using Git workflows

• Assist in implementing and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms

• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles for environment provisioning and configuration

• Monitor containerized applications and respond to performance issues

• Debug and troubleshoot application issues in containerized environments

• Maintain documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Hands-on experience with Docker (container creation, image management, Docker Compose)

• Working knowledge of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or Docker Swarm)

• Programming/scripting proficiency in at least one language (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)

• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git

• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)

• Basic knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar)

Education Requirements:

BE in Computer Science/IT, or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)

Travel may be required to other Manufacturing sites in US and/or Europe.
