Job description: Digital designer - Maya Designer
Location : Yelahanka, Bangalore
About The Gig
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Maya Designer to create high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual content using Autodesk Maya. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 3D design principles and be able to translate concepts into visually compelling outputs.
What You'll Do
- Create 3D models, textures, lighting, and animations using Autodesk Maya
- Develop realistic and high-quality visual assets for projects (product visualization, animation, or marketing content)
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to understand project requirements
- Optimize 3D assets for performance and quality
- Work on rendering and post-processing to enhance visual output
- Maintain consistency in design style and quality across all deliverables
- Stay updated with latest trends and tools in 3D design and animation
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Multimedia, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in 3D design/animation
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya
- Good knowledge of texturing, lighting, rendering, and animation techniques
- Familiarity with tools like Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Understanding of rendering engines (Arnold, V-Ray, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in product visualization (automotive/EV industry preferred)
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and video editing
- Portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation work
