Position Summary:

The Digital Content Supervisor leads a team responsible for maintaining website content for our Antibodies business, identifying areas of opportunity to improve quality, consistency, and completeness of information to create a better experience for our customers.

The Digital Content Supervisor is part of a larger team that interfaces with Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Operations, Program Management, and external suppliers as necessary to maintain and improve web content, including product and image data for our catalog of more than 300,000 antibodies. The team collects and evaluates information for new products as they are prepared for launch, providing accurate, on-time information for internal and customer-facing systems.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with good leadership skills, has a thorough understanding of antibody applications in the laboratory and a mastery of Microsoft Excel. This role requires someone with good judgement who can effectively balance customer needs with business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide team to improve scientific accuracy and completeness of web content

  • Intake project proposals and balance resources to achieve business objectives

  • Provide guidance and prioritization for web enhancements

  • Lead improvements to standard team processes

  • Provide guidance for customer inquiries and concerns related to antibodies

  • Perform all job duties consistent with the Thermo Fisher code of ethics and the 4-I values

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline or related field

  • Laboratory experience working hands-on with antibodies or 4+ years experience maintaining antibody web content

  • Experience leading large projects and process improvements

  • Mastery using Microsoft Excel with multi-level functions and large data sets

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with business partners in diverse locations via phone, email, and occasional travel

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team player and/or independently

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in an applicable life science discipline

  • Previous people leadership experience

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL

  • Bioinformatics knowledge/experience

  • Previous experience working with website/IT teams
