Position: Dietician

Role Overview
The dietician will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring dietary services for patients, ensuring nutritional care that supports recovery and overall health. The role involves working closely with doctors, nursing staff, and senior dieticians to provide customized diet plans and counseling to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the nutritional needs of patients as per diagnosis and clinical condition under supervision of senior dietician.
- Prepare and implement individualized diet plans based on patient requirements and doctors recommendations.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding dietary practices, restrictions, and modifications.
- Ensure accurate communication of diet plans to the dietary department and kitchen staff.
- Monitor patient acceptance, tolerance, and compliance with diet plans.
- Maintain proper documentation of dietary assessments, progress notes, and nutritional status reports.
- Participate in ward rounds with the clinical team to discuss patient progress.
- Assist in conducting nutrition awareness sessions, patient education programs, and community health initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, hygiene, and quality standards in dietary services.
Requirements
- Education: M.Sc. in Food & Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, or Dietetics from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to counsel patients effectively.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and clinical nutrition.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setup.
