Job Description

Diagnostics Engineer

Location: Pune / Bangalore

Experience: 5–10 Years

Notice Period (Immediate to 30 Days)

We are looking for an experienced Diagnostics Engineer with strong expertise in automotive diagnostics, UDS implementation, and vehicle EE systems across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and validate diagnostic functions based on UDS (ISO 14229), define and manage DTCs, DIDs, and diagnostic sessions, perform root cause analysis using logs and traces, support testing (HIL/SIL/vehicle), troubleshoot across CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet networks, use tools for flashing and fault analysis, ensure compliance with OEM standards, support SOP and field issue resolution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain diagnostic documentation and reports.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of UDS (ISO 14229), OBD II, diagnostics protocols, experience with CANoe/CANalyzer and diagnostic tools, understanding of ECU architecture and EE systems, DTC lifecycle management, flashing/reprogramming concepts, and fault handling.

Tools: CANoe/CANalyzer, OEM diagnostic tools, CAN/LIN/FlexRay networks.

Preferred: OEM/Tier1 experience, exposure to multiple domains (Powertrain, Body, Chassis, ADAS, Infotainment), knowledge of functional safety or cybersecurity diagnostics, strong stakeholder coordination.

Education: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech – Electrical / Electronics / Automotive / Mechatronics.
