Our client is a leading automotive component manufacturing. It is one of the recognized full service company supplying forged & machined components for various Original equipment manufacturer's & their MNC Tier-1's.

Position: DGM – PPC (Production Planning & Control)

Location: Plant (Ludhiana)

Reporting to: COO / Plant Head

Team: PPC Engineers, Dispatch, Store Coordination

About the Role

Production Planning

Prepare production plans based on demand forecasts and orders

Ensure optimal use of manpower, machines, and materials

Scheduling

Develop daily/weekly/monthly production schedules

Allocate work to different machines/lines

Ensure timely execution of production targets

Material Planning & Control

Ensure availability of raw materials and components

Avoid shortages or excess inventory

Production Monitoring

Track actual production vs plan

Identify delays, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies

Inventory Control

Maintain optimum levels of WIP (Work-in-Progress) and finished goods

Reduce waste, overstocking, and stockouts

Process Improvement

Improve planning systems and production efficiency

Implement lean practices, cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech / Diploma - (Mechanical / Production)

Must-Have Skills

✔ Strong control on production planning & scheduling

✔ Experience in inventory reduction (hands-on)

✔ Vendor planning & coordination experience
