Description

We are seeking a highly experienced DFX professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design for manufacturability principles and a proven track record of optimizing product designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) principles are integrated into product development.
• Conduct DFX analysis to identify potential design issues and recommend solutions to optimize product performance and cost.
• Develop and maintain DFX documentation including guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Facilitate DFX workshops and training sessions for engineering teams to promote understanding and application of DFX principles.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and materials to ensure alignment with DFX requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in DFX, design engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
