Title: DevSecOps & Compliance Officer Senior Consultant
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing retail technology team. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise in automation, cloud, and Linux systems with strong security awareness and the ability to collaborate closely with our wider DevOps organization. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and securing our cloud-native retail platform, ensuring operational excellence while supporting our SOC 2 compliance efforts.
DevSecOps Engineer (Retail Focus, SOC 2,PCI-DSS)
Key Responsibilities
. Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with embedded security controls.
. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
. Manage and secure Windows, Android and Linux-based systems across cloud and on‑prem environments.
. Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability tooling.
. Support SOC 2 audits, security control implementation, and evidence collection.
. Integrate SAST/SCA/DAST tools into CI/CD pipelines.
. Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Retail Operations teams.
Required Skills & Experience
. 3+ years experience in DevOps/DevSecOps/Platform Engineering.
. Strong Linux administration skills (Debian, RHEL, etc.).
. CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
. IaC expertise (Prometheus, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
. Cloud platform experience (Azure, or GCP).
. Threat modelling capability for systems and infrastructure
. Knowledge of security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO27001,PCI-DSS).
. Experience with retail or transactional environments is a plus.
. Experience working with container ecosystems(Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc.)
. Knowledge of Agentic AI and Security are strong plus
Soft Skills

. Ability to translate audit/security needs into technical implementations.
. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and automation-focused.
