We are seeking a DevOps Manager – IT Operations Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our DevOps and infrastructure operations. This role will be responsible for building and managing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure while enabling efficient application delivery through modern DevOps practices.
The DevOps Manager will oversee the IT operations engineering team responsible for DevOps platforms, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise platform integrations. This role requires close collaboration with Information Security, IT, GRC, and application development teams to ensure systems and services are reliable, secure, and aligned with business and client requirements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure environments.
- Manage and mentor the DevOps and infrastructure engineering team, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud and infrastructure platforms across global environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT operations, and security teams to design and implement infrastructure that supports business and product needs.
- Monitor infrastructure and application environments using automated alerting and observability tools, ensuring proactive incident response and resolution.
- Support project deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and environment setup aligned with DevOps best practices.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
- Work closely with Information Security and GRC teams to ensure infrastructure and DevOps processes meet security and compliance requirements.
- Track and evaluate emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance platform capabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation for DevOps processes, infrastructure architecture, and operational procedures.
- Provide operational metrics and performance reporting to leadership to support data-driven decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT operations engineering, or platform engineering.
- 2+ years of team leadership or management experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering environment.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or similar).
- Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and enterprise infrastructure architecture.
- Experience supporting SaaS and PaaS environments.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
