Devops Lead

We are seeking a DevOps Lead with over 6 years of experience in designing and maintaining high-volume applications, preferably within the financial domain. You will be responsible for containerizing enterprise Java applications using Docker and Kubernetes, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems. This role requires a strong background in Linux/Unix Administration, proficiency in Python/Shell Scripting, and extensive knowledge of various DevOps tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Containerization: Containerize enterprise Java applications using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, and build tools like Maven/Gradle.
• System Administration: Utilize a strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Python/Shell Scripting for automation and system management.
• Monitoring & Operations: Implement and manage monitoring tools like Zabbix and Nagios. Possess knowledge of IT operations for maintaining always-on, always-available services.
• Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Kafka, and Microservices architecture.
• Collaboration & Communication: Use excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with teams and make sound judgments and decisions.

Skills Required

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with a preference for experience in the financial domain.
• Strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python/Shell Scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Zabbix and Nagios.
• Familiarity with Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Kafka, and Microservices architecture.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance, and operations.
