Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, implementing secure authentication with Keycloak, and working with PostgreSQL databases. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence for our cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters on OCI.
- Configure and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including replication for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Integrate and manage Keycloak for application authentication and authorization.
- Manage and optimize OCI services such as Load Balancer, WAF, NAT Gateway, and Oracle Firewall.
- Implement and maintain OCI Vault for secure storage and access of sensitive data.
- Set up and manage Ingress-NGINX controllers for efficient traffic routing and management.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployments and enhance the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot system and application performance to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with strong focus on OCI.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including replication and HA architectures.
- Working knowledge of Keycloak for identity and access management.
- Practical experience with key OCI services including Load Balancer, WAF, NAT Gateway, and Firewall.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance analysis tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Good understanding of cloud networking concepts and design best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern collaboration tools
