Role Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in both cloud infrastructure (AWS) and physical server management. You will be responsible for deploying and maintaining scalable systems, automating infrastructure, and managing deployments across on-premise and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.)
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Install, configure, and maintain physical servers (Linux-based) in on-prem environments
- Handle network setup, firewall rules, and server monitoring
- Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Work with Docker and basic Kubernetes deployment setups
- Implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch[any one]
- Perform routine server maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting (disk, CPU, RAM, RAID)
- Ensure data backup, high availability, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows and resolve system issues
Required Skills:
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps/System Admin roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience managing and troubleshooting physical Linux servers
- Familiar with networking basics, DNS, and port/firewall configurations
- Experience with automation/scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git
Nice to Have:
- Basic experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Exposure to hardware monitoring, IPMI (iLO/iDRAC), or RAID configurations
- Certifications in AWS, Linux, or DevOps tools
- Experience working in hybrid (cloud + on-prem) infrastructure
