Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and implementation
- Deep expertise in major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with a strong preference for Azure
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including virtual networks, load balancers, application gateways, and enterprise security standards such as Private Links and Private Endpoints
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including RBAC, Network Security Groups (NSGs), encryption protocols, Managed Identities, and Service Principals
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Helm charts
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
- Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for enterprise clients
- Develop and maintain cloud adoption strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies based on business needs
- Implement best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance
- Design and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Monitor, optimize, and manage cloud performance and costs across multiple cloud platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security specialists, and network engineers
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Conduct regular architecture reviews and recommend continuous improvements
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, standards, and processes
