Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP DevOps Engineer with 8–10 years of expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while driving DevOps maturity across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage enterprise-scale solutions on GCP
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) clusters and containerized workloads
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using GCP tools and third-party solutions
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments
• Handle high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning
• Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices & culture
• Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams for seamless delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, Networking, Cloud Storage
• Advanced experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is mandatory)
• Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (GKE)
• Solid knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring)
• Deep understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, VPN, Firewalls)
• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices
