Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, proactive DevOps Engineer to own the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and production deployment of a regulated, multi-channel commerce platform on Microsoft Azure, spanning Magento / Adobe Commerce, a .NET integration layer, a React SPA, and React Native mobile builds.

You will provision and harden Dev/UAT/Prod environments as code, design CI/CD pipelines, stand up monitoring and observability, and execute a controlled go-live cutover with rollback readiness — all to demanding non-functional and compliance requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure & Cloud Management

• Provision Azure infrastructure as code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM) across Dev, UAT, and Production, with multi-region and data-isolation considerations (GDPR / data-residency posture).
• Provision and tune databases (MySQL/MariaDB for Magento; SQL Server connectivity for the D365 integration).
• Stand up caching and search for Magento (Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch with RTL/Arabic tokenisation) in partnership with the Magento Tech Lead.

CI/CD & Deployment Automation

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for Magento (PHP), .NET integration, React SPA, and React Native builds.
• Execute production cutover (blue-green / rolling / canary) with rollback readiness.
• Support hypercare monitoring and post go-live activities.

Monitoring, Security & Compliance

• Configure monitoring, alerting, and dashboards (Azure Monitor / Application Insights) for uptime, performance, error rates, and integration sync health.
• Harden security posture (NSGs, Key Vault / secrets management, Managed Identities, Azure Security Center) and validate against compliance and PCI-scope requirements.
• Plan disaster recovery and backups (RTO/RPO targets, point-in-time recovery, failover testing).

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with PM, Architect, developers, QA, and client IT teams.
• Support UAT environments and production sign-off activities.
• Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure planning discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of DevOps / Infrastructure Engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure App Services, networking & security configuration, VPN Gateway, Azure SQL, and Application Insights.
• Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM templates).
• Experience with Docker containerisation and deployment automation.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting, log aggregation, and dashboard setup.
• Experience implementing deployment strategies including blue-green, rolling, and canary deployments.
• PowerShell and/or Bash scripting expertise.
• Strong Git and version control experience.
• Familiarity with .NET and PHP/Magento application deployment on Azure.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP-integrated commerce platforms and large-scale B2B/B2C ecosystems.
• Magento-specific infrastructure experience including Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch tuning.
• Experience operating high-availability, regulated production systems (PCI / GDPR).
• Agile / Scrum delivery experience.

Qualifications & Education

• Hyderabad-based, aligned with Egypt Time Zone working hours (11:00 AM IST to 7:30 PM IST), with daily collaboration across distributed teams.
