Role: Devops Engineer

Experience Range : 4-8 yrs(Relevant)

Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata ,Bangalore

JD:

Must-Have:

Good Experience in DevOps Principals and their implementation

Strong hands on knowledge on using and managing Tools used in CICD workflow.

Good experience in CICD pipeline using Jenkins

Good experience in Build tools like Maven, NPM, Gradle etc.

Good experience in using Openshift or Kubernetes as application platform.

Experience on using various components on Openshift or Kubernetes like ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes and Persistent Volume Claims, Resource Quotas, Service Accounts, Roles, Ingress, Load Balancers etc

Strong Experience in using Helm Charts for Openshift or Kubernetes deployments.

Experience in implementing deployment strategies like Blue-Green, Canary etc.

Strong experience in using Linux as OS and Shell Script.

Experience on platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift, APIGEE.

Experience in using Vault for SSHKS, KV Secrets for use in Kubernetes/Openshfit

Good Experience on code scanning tools like, SonarQube, Blackduck, Snyk, Checkmarx etc

Experience in running Functional test as part of CICD pipeline to manage Quality gating.

Must-Have:

Ability to communicate with management, and be able to work under pressure

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Independent and meticulous with attention to details

Flexible to work during week-ends.

Proactive execution of priorities and goals

Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology operations environment.

Hands on experience in managing and troubleshooting CICD pipeline.

Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes

Knowledge of Build tools like Maven and NPM

Working knowledge of Tekton

Working knowledge of Harness

Implementation knowledge of Deployment strategies like Blue-Green and Canary

DORA Metrics knowledge

Splunk and AppDynamics working knowledge

API usage patterns

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

1 .Minimum 4 years working experience in Developing/Managing/Troubleshooting CICD pipeline.

2 .Experience in Implementing DevOps principals in CICD pipeline to Automate various phases of SDLC

3 .Confluence Documentation of Automation Solutions.

4 .Able to Educate AppDev for adopting various automation solutions

5 .Able to intake new automation requests with detailed information to engage engineering teams
