DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management

● Manage and maintain production environments across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-premise servers ● Administer Linux servers running PHP-FPM, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and web services

● Ensure high availability, uptime, and system reliability across environments

● Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot production issues DevOps & Platform

Engineering

● Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployments

● Automate current manual SSH-based deployment workflows

● Implement containerized workflows using Docker

● Standardize infrastructure across multiple client environments Security & Cybersecurity

Ownership

● Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure

● Harden servers and ensure secure configurations

● Manage SSL/TLS certificates, firewall policies, and access controls

● Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and suspicious activity Compliance & Governance

● Maintain audit logs, access controls, and backup policies

● Establish infrastructure SOPs and operational processes

● Ensure practices align with regulated fintech environments IT Governance & Asset Management ● Manage device usage policies for employees

● Maintain custody and tracking of company technology assets

● Enforce access policies for repositories, servers, and internal systems Monitoring & Incident

Response

● Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems

● Participate in shared on-call rotation with the engineering team

● Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production incidents Required Skills

● Strong Linux system administration

● Experience managing cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)

● Experience with Nginx, PHP-FPM

● CI/CD pipeline design and automation

● Docker containerization

● Experience managing MySQL / PostgreSQL

● Security best practices for production systems Good to Have

● Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible / Pulumi)

● Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK

● Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS environments

● You have primarily worked in support or system administration roles without building automation or DevOps platforms

● You are not comfortable working directly with Linux servers and production infrastructure

● You prefer narrowly defined responsibilities rather than owning infrastructure end-to-end

● You are not comfortable with production incident ownership and troubleshooting Application
