Your Role And Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically development, testing and debugging required to achieve successful implementation of integrated solutions within the product portfolio.
- Complete coding, testing, defect fixes, and production support, using agile methodologies.
- Developing products dealing with scalability, availability, reliability.
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes and quickly apply them to the overall development effort.
- Ability to work on Enterprise level application.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience of SaaS/Cloud operation - Application, Managed Service, Infrastructure
- Experience of on-call support by using pager duty service
- Work hour flexibility to cover EU or US timezone.
- Basic knowledge of Linux(REHL is preferable), Java(JVM), network, security and hardware (e.g. VSI and BareMetal on IBM Cloud, etc)
- Basic Knowledge of DevOps and its languages/tools (e.g. bash, python, ansible, Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana, grafana/inflaxdb/Kapacitor/Tegegraf/etc)
- Development Tools - GitHub, Jenkins, etc
- Programming language - shell script, python, etc
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Basic knowledge of Maximo, Liberty, DB2 and Hadoop is preferred. Experience of troubleshooting on some of those areas is welcomed.
- Experience in implementing and executing some of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) methodology
- Knowledge / experience regarding security compliance in software development and SaaS delivery.
