About Position:
We are seeking for DevOps Engineer with hands on experience in GCP, ELK Stack, Kubernetes (GKE) & Docker

What You'll Do:
- GCP Platform Engineering & Operations
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, and networking services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Kubernetes Administration (GKE)
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters on GKE, including workload deployments, cluster scaling, resource optimization, RBAC, ingress, secrets management, and upgrades.
- ELK Stack Deployment & Maintenance
- Build, configure, and maintain ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) deployments for centralized logging, monitoring, and observability across infrastructure and applications.
- Elasticsearch Cluster Management
- Handle Elasticsearch deployments across cluster/on-prem environments, including index lifecycle management, templates creation, shard optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Kibana Dashboards & Analytics
- Develop and manage Kibana queries, dashboards, and visualizations for log analysis, monitoring, and operational reporting.
- Log Ingestion Pipelines (Logstash)
- Create and manage log ingestion pipelines using Logstash to parse, enrich, filter, and route logs from multiple sources into Elasticsearch with reliability and consistency.
- Service Mesh & Traffic Management (Istio / Anthos Service Mesh)
- Implement and support Istio / Anthos Service Mesh for secure service-to-service communication, observability, policy enforcement, traffic routing, and resilience.
- SIEM & Security Observability
- Utilize ELK as a SIEM/log analytics solution to detect anomalies, support incident response, and strengthen monitoring and alerting for security threats.
- CI/CD Automation (Jenkins)
- Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments, integrating versioning, approvals, and rollback strategies.
- Containerization & Deployment Standardization
- Build, maintain, and optimize Docker images, and deploy applications using Helm charts with environment-specific configurations and repeatable release processes.
- Automation & Scripting
- Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation, operational tasks, deployments, and maintenance activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Management
- Set up monitoring and alerts, perform production support, handle incidents, reduce MTTR, and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) with preventive improvements.
- Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain clear documentation (runbooks, SOPs, architecture notes) and work closely with developers, QA, security, and platform teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
- Deep hands-on expertise with ELK Stack for log aggregation, monitoring, and analysis across distributed systems
- Strong experience in Elasticsearch deployment on clusters and on-prem setups, including index management, templates, and optimization
- Advanced knowledge of Kibana dashboards, queries, and visualizations for effective monitoring and reporting
- Proven experience in implementing and maintaining log management and SIEM solutions using ELK
- Solid understanding of service mesh technologies such as Istio / Anthos Service Mesh
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes (GKE) for container orchestration, scaling, and deployment management
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker and managing deployments via Helm charts
- Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Good understanding of GCP services, including: GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) ,Big Query, Bigtable ,Pub/Sub ,Networking services ,Looker Studio
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills in cloud-native environments
- Ability to design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
