Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 5–9 years of experience in software development and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and scripting, with the ability to work independently as a technical SME.

Must-Have Skills

• SDLC / Software Development: 6+ years
• SME / Subject Matter Expertise: 1+ year
• Scripting: Python preferred; Go, Ruby, or Bash also acceptable
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Manage and automate application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash.
• Manage source code and branching strategies using Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and engineering processes.
• Act as an SME for DevOps tools and practices and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Ensure reliable, repeatable, and efficient CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Participate in production support and resolve technical issues when required.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins + GitLab CI + Docker + Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting/automation experience, preferably Python.
• Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows.
• Comfortable working as an independent contributor and taking ownership of DevOps challenges.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
