DevOps Engineer - Microservices

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for microservices-based applications.
• Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure microservices follow best practices for scalability, fault tolerance, and observability.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and availability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
• Implement security, secrets management, and policy enforcement across environments.
• Maintain version control systems and branching strategies (GitOps preferred).
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration workflows.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
