Lead Devops Engineer - Web, Backend, Microservices

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Build and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Manage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for compute, networking, and storage.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into development workflows.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio.
• Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers, enforce best practices, and lead incident response during outages.
• Oversee release management, environment automation, and rollback strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles, including 2+ years in a leadership or architect capacity.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, Git workflows, and version control systems.
• Strong expertise with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
