Job Description

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive our infrastructure vision, architect resilient systems, and lead DevOps excellence across projects.

In this role, you will own the DevOps strategy, design and manage cloud-native infrastructure, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of our platforms. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and leading best practices across CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and governance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional DevOps experience with demonstrated growth into senior or lead responsibilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong background in DevOps architecture and technical leadership

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring DevOps or SRE teams

  • Expertise in defining and driving DevOps strategy and roadmaps

  • Deep hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms

  • Experience overseeing infrastructure automation at scale

  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, security, compliance, and governance practices

  • Experience with incident management, postmortems, and root cause analysis

  • Understanding of business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform, Vault, ELK stack, or similar

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, QA, and cross-functional teams

  • Strong stakeholder communication and project management skills

  • Experience with budgeting, team hiring, and performance evaluation

  • Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities

  • Strong mentorship skills for junior and mid-level engineers

  • Strategic thinking with the ability to propose and implement innovative solutions

  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement

  • Ability to align technical decisions with broader business goals

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make complex technical decisions independently
