IBDIC (Indian Banks Digital Infrastructure Company) is a consortium of eighteen banks – Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank, Indian Bank, PNB, RBL Bank, Kotak Bank, South Indian Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, SBI, Yes Bank, and Union Bank of India as investors.
The objective of the organisation is to build Public Digital Infrastructure for Banking using blockchain and other emerging technologies, leveraging the network of members to enable high-volume and cost-effective financial transactions.
IBDIC is looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable IT infrastructure and DevOps practices across the organization. The role involves overseeing cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and system reliability to support high-performance and secure digital banking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline build and deployment processes.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and 99.99% infrastructure uptime.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and system performance using logging and monitoring tools.
- Implement security best practices including IAM, network security, and access controls.
- Manage disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and infrastructure scalability.
- Collaborate with development, product, and security teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency and security.
- Proactively monitor and optimise costs across the infrastructure.
- Should have managed large scale deployments on cloud.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or IT Infrastructure roles.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, EKS).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure architecture.
- Experience managing IaaS/PaaS environments and multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- BFSI experience preferred.
