DevOps Engineer

What Are We Looking For

We are looking for a skilled and ownership-driven DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and delivery pipelines that power Styli's commerce platform on GCP. This is a hands-on role with high autonomy — you will own critical systems, drive automation, and work closely with product engineering teams to ensure we ship fast and stay reliable.

Qualifications Must-Have

3–6 years of hands-on DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering experience.

● Strong working knowledge of GCP — GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and GCP networking fundamentals.

● Expert-level Kubernetes operations: cluster lifecycle management, workload scheduling, autoscaling, RBAC, and networking (CNI, Ingress, Service Mesh).

● Proficiency in Terraform for multi-cloud IaC — module design, state management, and CI/CD-integrated plan/apply workflows.

● Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent.

● Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash

● Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, networking (DNS, TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP/2), and distributed systems fundamentals.

● Experience designing for high availability and scale — load balancing, stateless service design, caching layers, and database connection management.
