Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and automate cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Build and support microservices-based platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab, and Jenkins CI/CD.
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performing distributed systems in AWS.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enable self-service platforms and improve deployment efficiency.
- Implement security best practices including IAM, Security Groups, and key management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within AWS environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support US time-zone overlapping hours.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years in Systems Administration and/or Software Engineering within AWS.
- 4+ years of experience in CI/CD (Jenkins) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service mesh (Istio/Envoy).
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, shell scripting, and Git.
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Strong communication, consulting, and root cause analysis skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe).
- Strong focus on developer experience and continuous improvement mindset.
