DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure.
• Kubernetes Workloads: Design, implement, and support Kubernetes workloads.
• IaC Template Development: Develop standard Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.
• CI/CD Tooling: Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) tools.
• Automation: Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
• DevOps Processes: Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
• Incident Management: Handle incident management and root cause analysis.
• Cloud Service Expertise: Possess Azure or AWS experience, particularly with Cloud Service continuous delivery systems.
• Team Mentoring: Mentor and guide team members.
• Source Control: Demonstrate experience with source control systems (such as GitHub).
• IaC Design & Implementation: Experience in designing & implementing infrastructure as code.
• Application Onboarding Support: Assist application teams with onboarding to container application platforms in areas such as resource requirements, capacity analysis, and troubleshooting support.
• Cloud Provisioning & Management: Handle Azure/AWS provisioning, configuration management, storage management, network management, and virtualization.
• CI/CD Automation: Create the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation infrastructure to support the project engineering team.
• Security as Code: Develop and improve standards for security (via security as code) across a continuous delivery environment and cloud-based production deployments.

Qualifications

• Education: Full-time Bachelor's degree.
