Job Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to play a key role in enhancing our DevOps culture, mindset, and capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive the adoption of best practices, helping teams embrace automation, continuous integration, and cloud-native technologies to improve software delivery and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with feature and platform teams to strengthen DevOps maturity and improve delivery efficiency.
- Analyze current DevOps capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead hands-on workshops to bridge technical gaps.
- Guide teams in adopting DevOps tools, techniques, and automation strategies to enhance value delivery.
- Recommend tailored DevOps capability improvements based on team needs and technical maturity.
- Provide insights to refine policies, best practices, and tooling within our DevOps ecosystem.
- Use data-driven decision-making to optimize costs, efficiency, and long-term value for the organization.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), particularly Amazon EKS.
- Strong knowledge of Helm and Helmfile for managing Kubernetes applications.
- Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.
- Deep understanding of cloud and container networking principles.
- Proficiency in GitLab CI for building and maintaining robust pipelines.
- Skilled in Bash scripting for automation and system administration.
- Experience with agile project management and a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and automation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
