DevOps Engineer (2+ Years Experience)
At bluCursor, we're looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help us build scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure for our global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Assist in building, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Work on containerization using Docker and support Kubernetes orchestration in development or staging environments.
- Perform routine Linux system administration tasks, including security patches, updates, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth code integration, deployment, and environment consistency.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure uptime, performance, and reliability.
- Document infrastructure and deployment processes for team clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed.
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EC or MCA.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of Linux system administration.
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Exposure to Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts.
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
