Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and optimize Linux (Ubuntu) servers to ensure high availability and performance
Install, configure, and fine-tune Apache / Nginx web servers for secure and scalable deployments
Deploy, manage, and maintain PHP-based applications in staging and production environments
Install, configure, and maintain Odoo ERP servers, including PostgreSQL setup, tuning, and optimization
Configure and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning and backup strategies
Monitor server health, uptime, logs, and resource utilization; proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Troubleshoot server, network, and application-level issues with root cause analysis

Security & Reliability

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / DigitalOcean
Configure domains, DNS records, and SSL certificates
Maintain separate staging and production environments with controlled release workflows
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and repeatable server provisioning

Automation & CI/CD

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows
Automate routine system administration tasks using shell scripting
Configure and manage Docker containers for application isolation and scalability
Ensure minimal downtime deployments and rollback strategies
