DevOps Engineer

Role Expectations:

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code
• Deploy and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure, including private hosting and cloud-native implementations
• Implement and maintain auto-scaling and load balancing
• Ensure compliance and security of all cloud-based systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously improve and optimize the platform for scalability, security and reliability
• Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing and apply them to improve our platform

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible and Puppet
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and ELK
• Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
• Strong scripting skills in at least one language such as Python or Bash
• Strong understanding of networking concepts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
