As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of systems. The position also includes collaborating with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, focusing on cloud environments and container orchestration technologies to support scalable and secure software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration tools.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of security best practices in software delivery and deployment.
- Ability to monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
