DevOps AWS Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline software delivery and infrastructure management processes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated build, test, and deployment of applications
• Configure and manage infrastructure resources, including cloud-based environments and on-premises systems
• Automate system provisioning, configuration, and orchestration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and availability using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK Stack
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and scalability through code optimization and infrastructure enhancements
• Implement and maintain version control systems and repositories (e.g., Git) to manage configuration and deployment artifacts
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role
• Strong understanding of software development, deployment, and operations processes
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK Stack
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
