About the Role

Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers in the design, architecture, development, and deployment of complex AWS-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical strategies and implementations. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and ensure that the team is continuously learning and improving. Participate in architecture discussions, provide technical guidance, and ensure the overall quality and scalability of the solutions. Identify and address technical challenges, risks, and bottlenecks, and proactively propose and implement solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, tools, and processes that enhance the team's efficiency and productivity. Represent the team in client meetings, present technical solutions, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in the design, architecture, development, and deployment of complex AWS-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest AWS services and best practices and ensure continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Participate in architecture discussions, provide technical guidance, and ensure the quality and scalability of solutions.
• Identify and address technical challenges, risks, and bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency.
• Represent the team in client meetings, present technical solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in designing, architecting, developing, and deploying AWS-based solutions.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers.
• Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.

Required Skills

Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills

Experience with additional cloud platforms and services. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
