Project Role: DevOps Architect

Project Role Description:

Assess, design, and engineer DevOps solutions in complex technology environments. Design and build DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-premises infrastructure, utilizing microservices or traditional application patterns.

Summary:

We are seeking a DevOps Architect with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ScienceLogic tools, expertise in Ansible programming, and extensive experience in Jenkins for CI/CD processes. This role emphasizes enhancing automation, streamlining deployments, and efficient infrastructure management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

ScienceLogic Tool Management:

• Oversee and maintain ScienceLogic tools for monitoring, alerting, and integration with IT infrastructure.
• Customize solutions to enhance system visibility, performance monitoring, and automated reporting.

Ansible Development & Automation:

• Utilize advanced Ansible programming skills to automate infrastructure configuration and deployments.
• Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance Ansible scripts for a scalable IT environment.

Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline Management:

• Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate Jenkins with other development tools to optimize deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Act as a subject matter expert for ScienceLogic, Ansible, and Jenkins, assisting team members with complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clarity in project requirements.
• Prepare documentation and reports for automation processes and improvements.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Stay updated with advancements in automation and DevOps tools.
• Lead initiatives focused on process optimization, automation advancements, and infrastructure resilience.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in ScienceLogic tools for IT operations and infrastructure monitoring.
• Proficiency in Ansible programming for automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, especially in CI/CD pipeline management.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Information:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps Architecture.
• This position is based in our Indore office.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
