Development Manager, VP

As a Development Manager, you will set the strategic direction for your team and oversee the end-to-end delivery of both strategic and tactical projects. You will coordinate technology and change teams to achieve agreed business outcomes, while ensuring customer goals are met and the bank's reputation is maintained. This role provides the opportunity to share subject matter expertise and shape the future direction of the function.

• Set the strategic direction for the development team, supported by senior technical members.
• Ensure project deliverables align with customer goals and deliver value within total cost of ownership considerations.
• Oversee architectural and functional improvements across the technology estate.
• Drive and contribute to the technology strategy roadmap.
• Understand, incorporate, and influence requirements from programme initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple projects and teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency.
• Monitor project finances, reporting, and performance to ensure successful outcomes.
